I know a good coach when I see one,all U people that have doubts about Golden are lost,This year I am predicting 10 wins easy, and it would not surprise me we go undefeated....HE IS BUILDING SOMETHING SPECIAL.......I will say when its all done and over, He will be the #1 Hurricane coach of all time...Im confident

I hope you are right. I have been a fan since the Jim Kelly days as well and have seen a lot of great times as any college football fan could in those years. Think about all of those great coaches, players and games. 5 tltles and should have been more. Great memories. Jimmy Johnson built two dynasties in college and the pros. No coach has ever done what Jimmy has done. Hope Golden will do tbe same and stay at the U. Been a rough start for him and think he has done great for what he was handed.

I was there for Andy Gustafson. I think the OP is on to something.

Try a 59 year Cane fan. The first game I remember going to was UM-Alabama in the OB. I think it was '55. I started watching in '54.

I remember my father watching a game in the living room yelling, "Go, Whitey, Go!" Our black maid looked at him and didn't know what to think.

He was yelling for Whitey Rouviere to make a big play. He was the other RB from Jack Losch, with Don Bosseler at FB, I guess. We had some players back then, too.
