Not Canes-related, but James Cook just hit a new level against Carol City.

Two pick sixes and a third INT which set up a TD run, all in three minutes. Central wins, 26-13.

CB might be his money position.

I was at a summer 7v7 at Miami Central, where they faced off against Miami High. Actually, at one point it was basically 11v11 (pass-rush, but no tackling).

Johnny Ford and Lamont Finnie were working the Central DBs. So, they decide to give Cook reps at both FS and Corner. On one play Ford got him, but on the next it was pick-6 by Cook. Ford is the quickest kid in SFL, regardless of class. I'm happy with our backs, but Cook is no slouch. He broke 3 70-80 yard Td runs on Bishop Gorman and IMG.

He won’t switch till he goes to the league

He will force himself to live up to his bros last name

I thought I read somewhere that he was slow. Okay, he might not have the best 40 time, but he carries those pads without a loss of speed. Does he always play both ways? Pretty impressive if he does for what most consider an elite athlete. That's good production, even if he's going to be a stinking Nole.

They put him out there in the 4th because one of their dbs got hurt. Legit player

Now that Richt is gone, the boosters at UGA under Smart are freed up to outbid the boosters at FSU.

So, Georgia will end up with cook and zamir - be interesting to see that battle next summer. Part of me wishes we went after cook harder but seems like a bag chaser like his brother

CB in the nfl takes unique speed, quickness and body type and control, including hips.

I can't prove Cook doesnt have that, but I dont have much reason to think he does, either.

Do you really believe that?
