Mario KNEW Emory wasn't going to get us into FG range no matter how much time was on the clock. Full stop. If he had used his timeouts perfectly, there still wouldn't have been enough time to ground and pound our way down to FG range.

His only hope was our D holding on for the win. THAT'S how bad Emory was.

Fwiw, we **** near pulled it off. They got 6 downs to score from inside the 4 because Zaquan committed the penalty.

So.. tldr, Mario knew we were ****ed if they scored.
