247 Mock class

I would prefer to trade JUCO Jared Goldwire for 2018 DT Trevor Trout.

Go Canes

No...believe me Trout is one of the most overrated recruits this cycle. The kid made his bones on the camp circuit starting when he was in 8th grade. Since then he has not progressed as a recruit of his stature should. If you saw him play in person you would soon realize he is lazy and lacks a motor for a good part of most games this year. He still has offers from big time schools hoping to light the fire in him again but I would prefer he do that elsewhere.

I trust Kool if he is still after him since 8th grade I'm sure he knows what to do to turn that potential into execution

I hope we sign 30 to 32 , we will push more dead weight off the team

That class, which is entirely possible, would be the nail in the coffin for the rest of CFB. Elite and well-balanced. Maybe the only criticism would be the thin linebacker class.

With the recruiting momentum we are building, it would not surprise me to have several "out of nowhere" commits a la JT4.

Agree except I am hoping it will be some big ugly offensive lineman

With back to back national tv appearances showcasing our defense and the turnover chain, my money is on defensive recruits.

I’d you’re a blue chip player on offense, especially QB, OL, and RB, why would you not come here? The lack of depth is an invitation to get early playing time and to be on a team with a dominating defense. If we have an O that can sustain drives AND score quickly, the rest of the country will be sick of us winning all the god**** time.

There are 3-4 OL spits up for grab, our RB1 is going pro, RB2 and RB3 are above average, but not elite, our QB1 is the best stopgap QB we could hope for, our actual QB2 is unknown as of this moment, and TE U’s only NFL prospect is graduating. RB, TE, and WR will be stocked after 2018 and this team has the potential to have 1-2 RB, 1-2 WR, and 1TE 3 & out candidates every year beginning in 2021. Enjoy the ride.

I'd like to see more on the OL. That is our weakness moving into next year.

That class has us with our three committed players (Reed, Scaife, Campbell) and adding Jalen Goss. I think that's a pretty good OL class on top of what we got in 2017. Then throw in a potentially elite 2018 OL haul, that sounds great to me.

What do you guys think?

Donor see any mention of Jordan Davis DT from Mallard Creek, N C, but 247 has him 50% predicted to The U?

He’s been getting predicted to UGA recently. Love his tape tho, I see why Kool wanted him but I think we have cooled on him

First 3 are excellent, not sure about Goss tho. Personally not a fan of OL projects that are under 270. Idk if I would recruit anyone under 275-280, too much uncertainty. Probably have to find a guy OOS, in-state options don’t appear interested
