Should have been about 5 less on Miami and near 10 more on Nebraska, but of course they never got called for a hold despite tackling the d-line all night. When's the last time you saw a team get issued a sideline warning 3 times? Or when's the last time you saw a team clinch the game 5 separate times and each play had a flag? Those refs should never be allowed onto a football field again.

Coaches need to sense when the refs are crazy. That's what makes his own penalty even more infuriating.

Not desperation when the refs were doing a terrible job. He was getting upset even when we were way ahead. They were calling holding calls, like the one on our receiver, when the hands were inside but had a bit of a grip on the jersey, while Nebraska's oline was outright tackling our dline on at least half the plays, and they only called a handful of them. Then the terrible "running into the kicker call" which should have been roughing, and the call on Scott's "incomplete" catch despite him having the ball all the way to the ground, until the defender landed on top of him after the play was over.

All may be true but a coach can't lose control. If you lose control, your players lose control.
I see lots of coaches getting angry but they don't hop all over the field. You can make things worse. And maybe he did.
