2026 four-star wide receiver Jase Mathews has scheduled a visit to Miami this weekend, as he informed Chad Simmons of On3.



Mathews will be on campus this weekend to meet with the coaching staff and is likely attending the Hurricanes' annual spring game, which takes place on April 12th.

May want to edit the article. Thought this was about Mathews. 2nd part of the article is referencing Green. Just an fyi.

2026 Thread 'Jase Mathews 4* WR from Leakesville, MS'

247 is reporting that Jase has locked in an OV for May 30, 2025 (One says its locked in to June 20, 2025). Only got an offer a couple weeks back and almost immediately scheduled an OV so the recruitment must be serious.

Jase, a four-star prospect from Leakesville, MS, stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and had an impressive junior season at Greene County High School, recording 68 receptions for 1,138 yards, 15 touchdown catches, and contributing with a passing and a rushing touchdown.

As a sophomore, Jase competed in Track & Field, he ran a 23.70 in the 200 meters and a long jump of 20-6.

Jase is ranked as the 71st player in the nation, the 11th among wide receivers, and the 4th-best player in Mississippi.

Mathews is set to hit the road this summer, having planned visits to several Power Five schools, including Miami, Colorado, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Texas A&M.
