They were saying the same thing about last year's draft too, but it turned out to be jam-packed with talent.People say this is a poor draft, I don't see it.
That's the message every time there isn't a borderline mega elite prospect at QB available, which is rare, but happens from time to time.
what would you do if you were Tennessee? They were saying the same thing about last year's draft too, but it turned out to be jam-packed with talent.
Some NFL front office people only view drafts through the lens of 1st round QB's; if they don't see a bunch of top tier 1st rounders, they automatically say the draft is weak.
But time & time again, the good teams who are perennial playoff contenders are always reloading from the draft.
The teams who suck that consistently draft bad unproductive picks, usually are the ones who have the most scouts & gm's proliferating narratives about the draft talent not being as robust.
This is a very talent rich draft at RB, CB, EDGE, OT, TE & WR.
There's a drop off at QB, OG, LB & S after the first couple prospects at those spots. Not as much depth as the other positions.
EDGE is incredibly deep this year imo, all the teams picking late will load up at EDGE I bet. RB, TE look great. I'd probably disagree a bit about OT as I think a few guys end up getting moved inside - so I think OT and iOL end up both being solid. WR feels very good just not excellent top end talen, but like a lot of good day 2 prospects. DT seems pretty good. Safety and LB seem the worst by far imo, along with QB.They were saying the same thing about last year's draft too, but it turned out to be jam-packed with talent.

Cam Ward 100%. If you aren't picking Cam, I'd try to trade down to the team that is in love with Cam - so either Browns, Giants, or Raiders. And then you go BPA.what would you do if you were Tennessee?
Patriots traded like **** in the 2017 draft. If I start counting the talent missed out in that one year, I'll probably break my phone midway through. The teams who suck that consistently draft bad unproductive picks, usually are the ones who have the most scouts & gm's proliferating narratives about the draft talent not being as robust.
