6’0 170lbs 4-star CB out of Philadelphia, goes to St. Joe’s Prep
Had a great Sophomore season with 35tcks 15PBU’s 3INT’s 2FF’s & 1FR
Is a technically savvy Press cover corner with loose hip fluidity & terrific concise footwork.
@1:00 had inside leverage vs outside release, did a great job of extending the one-hand jam to maintain positioning while transitioning in phase playing over top on the WR’s outside shoulder steering him towards the sideline & displaying great eye discipline getting his head around making a play on the ball to the PBU, that was textbook coverage.
He excels in Press man bump & run coverage, plays with very good physicality & has sudden quick-twitch footwork as a smooth fluid runner with active hands while in phase. Can also play well in off-cover zone in Bail technique.
Lacks pure top-end speed but eye test looks in the mid 4.5 range, makes up for it with very good physicality & sound technique. Is an advanced pure cover corner with A+ football IQ.
Versatile DB that can play Boundary, Nickel, Field or could Free Safety, but projects best at Boundary Corner. Is a gifted corner with high upside, will be a kid that can step in right away & play as a True Freshman.
