6'0 175lbs 3-star CB out of Baton Rouge, goes to 3A school Madison Prep.

Dual sport athlete that plays football & runs track. He was 1st team all-district as a WR & 2nd team all-district as a DB, he had over 400yds receiving & 4INT's with 8PBU's at CB.

He's a long armed WR with a good frame & natural muscular build. He's got raw athleticism & good vert, as a WR & DB he displays his jump ball ability in going up & highpointing the ball to make catches. His CB film starts @6:45 on tape. He shows good footwork & loose hip flexibility out of his stance, uses his natural abilities to stay active in routes. @7:37 on his tape he displayed very good eye recognition reading the WR movements while transitioning in phase to get his head around & find the ball, then using his long arm length to get a TD saving PBU on a deep corner fade. @8:50 was impressive; he immediately flipped his hips, used a solid jam to reroute the Receiver stayed step for step & used his natural recovery speed to get the PBU. He's not a full time CB so he needs his technique refined but has very good raw traits that you look for in a Corner. He's got a strong physical build, natural athletic capabilities & good ball skills to work with. Needs to work on his overall physicality & isn't the best tackler, throws his shoulder & doesn't always identify his target before attempting, but gives good effort. Overall is a high upside prospect that with some good coaching can play & contribute early, definitely not a Redshirt kid.

Comes from a really good program down in Baton Rouge that has produced some good athletes;

- 2020 4-star S Major Burns who signed with UGA
- 2020 3-star CB Joel Williams who signed with Kentucky
- 2017 3-star DE Bryan Jones who signed for Houston
- 2017 3-star RB Troy James who signed with Oklahoma
- 2016 3-star DE Malcolm Roach who signed with Texas
- 4-star Josh LeBlanc former Georgetown Small Forward

Plays for Louisiana Bootleggers 7v7 team alongside Malik Nabers, Jardin Gilbert, Jah'von Grigsby & 22 CB Laterrance Welch who we just offered a few days ago. He visited Miami for the Adidas 7v7 tournaments back in January & was originally offered back then.

Holds offers from Va Tech, UVA, Kentucky, Arizona, Indiana, Mich St, Kansas, Purdue, Memphis, Houston, La Tech & GTech.

Don't know how hard we've been recruiting him but we made his top 10 & he's saying his recruitment is still open.

Va Tech has a lead right now because they've recently been recruiting him, we need to make it battle & turn up the heat.

He's not a kid that's sticking in SEC country & isn't a take for LSU this class, therefore he's wide open. Va Tech has only recently been recruiting him more, all we have to do is apply pressure & we get a shot.

The staff needs to pull their heads out of their asses & stop being lazy with CB recruiting.

Recruit this kid!

OOS?? The usual culprits will have their opinions

Nice find LCE
I've talked about him a couple of times on the board for awhile, he just didn't have his own thread.

But just off the fact we're in his top 10 even if we weren't recruiting him hard, we should now.

Start now & keep pushing til the season starts & watch how we have a chance. All we have to do is give the effort.

This looks like a scenario where this kid goes to VT and give us fits.

Hope not.

Just recruit him hard & see what happens. Va Tech's only advantage is they've recruited him like they want him, therefore they've positioned themselves in his recruitment, we ought to do the same. If a kid is willing to go to Blacksburg VA from Baton Rouge, he'll come to Miami from BR.

Blake Baker coached at LA Tech, he should be recruiting this kid heavy, and I would have kids like Christian Williams & Isaiah Dunson hit him up & show him that them Southern Boys from SEC country can come to Miami & feel comfortable. I'd have Michael Jackson Sr give'em a call he's an Alabama boy who played well here, have Ed Reed get in contact with him too, Idk just put forth some **** effort.

No reason why these kids are going all over the place & we're just swinging & missing on every one of'em while sitting back with our feet kicked up like it's no big deal. If we recruited these kids harder they'd come here, I'm certain of it.

#1 corner in Louisiana. Committed to MEMPHIS. Is he waiting for a LSU offer? He should be easy to flip, why aren't we recruiting him?
