Didn't see a thread made, so I made one🤷🏿‍♂️Today is the beginning of the GMAC football season.

Palmetto defeated Booker T. Washington 28-8 at Tropical Park.



Brashard Smith had 2 TD catches. Leonard Taylor had a sack & a forced fumble. Savion Collins played right guard & looked good there (Hmmmmmm.) 2022 QB Kevin Smith tossed 2 TDs & ran for another one (Arizona State & Southern Miss offers.) I wasn't there, the info is from the 247 article in the tweet.

Killian & Columbus kick off at 7PM at Tropical Park.
Central vs. Northwestern also kicks off at 7, presumably at Traz Powell.
Chaminade Madonna @ Benjamin kicks off at 7.
Cardinal Gibbons @ St. Thomas Aquinas kicks off at 7.
American Heritage @ Venice kicks off at 7.
Somerset Academy @ Monsignor Pace kicks off at 7.

Some real good games ont hat schedule.

Central vs Northwestern. Gibbons vs STA.. Heritage vs Venice


Theres high level Div 1 prospects in all those games.

Im a fan of two of the Venice athletes. Not sure why we havent dipped back over to Venice to get a prospect. There last few prospects have been real good.

Interesting point, as no program has owned that school.
 
Our commits are showing out tonight. Thad has 3 touchdowns. James Williams has a 98 yard pick six. Brinson had a 70 yard touchdown. Kam has a pick. Brashard had two touchdowns. Taylor had a sack and FF. Huge night. Anyone got eyes on Columbus and Ishmael and Rodriguez? Tyler Johnson for killian?

Anybody who was at the STA game, can you tell me how 2022 LB Tray Brown looked?

Kid is built like a tank & is a downhill thumper tackling machine, but there's some questions about his natural foot speed & sideline to sideline ability.

Just curious to know if he stood out to you & looked fast if you saw him out there.
(He's #55 btw)

Played against him last year...definately a big kid. Definately a MIKE. I dont remember him being overly athletic or anything but he also was young. I think could be a kid UM recruits

Stud. Didn't see him in coverage much, he plays fast and down hill. 53 is good too but not getting recruited.
Tray will be a monster when he goes to college.
 
Also Hulk from Cardinal Gibbons #19 is going to be a great RB. The kid runs very Edgerrin James like (Low with an aggressive lean) at the goalline he had Sapp on him and **** near flunk Sapp off.
Hate Gibbons. Always did but my godson goes there so I'll be keeping an eye on them. Their '23 class is something serious. Coach Kirby (RIP) built a great relationship with all the kids and their families. He was the key to almost all of them

Gonna try and make it to my alma mater game(ridge) I'll see if they're anyone um caliber. Good slate if games this week
 
I’m a little surprised MNW didn’t keep it competitive longer. Not sure why public schools offer to play IMG.
