6'8 310lbs 4-star OT from out of Littleton Colorado, goes to 5A school Columbine (yes that Columbine)

Dual sport athlete that plays both Football & Basketball, kid is obviously huge, with good footwork & strength, plays both Guard & Tackle but projects best at RT. He's the #1 ranked player in the state of Colorado.

Holds offers from BYU (the early favorites), Notre Dame, Michigan, Arizona, Clemson, UGA, Oh St, Oklahoma, Ok St, Oregon, Stanford, USC, Utah, Penn St, Wisconsin, UF & Tenn.

6’8 !!
Tate when he rolls up on campus.

No gonna lie, we have better shots at kids from places like Colorado and Massachusetts like Zak Zinter(especially where’s he’s from) then we do with offering kids from the south.
I agree, back in the day, when Miami was “Sunshine U” a lot of the kids on the roster were from cold weather states. Mostly bc of the “Sunshine” part. Fast forward to the present, and THE U, has history, Nattys, and NFL Cred. Sunshine is a bonus, especially if your freezing your balls off at -35 degrees, just sayin’

It's interesting that a lot of the board have been questioning why we don't just go and get some Mid West Olinemen to marry with the SoFl skill position players.

All Butch Barry has done is camp out in the Mid West and throw offers out to Olinemen.

Interesting development for sure.

Because they don’t like of places like Colorado or Massachusetts would have prospects worth offering. Plus there’s places out there just a “down-home” as the south location wise.

It’s hard someone made an article about how it would be a bad personality fit to bring in a bunch of Midwest kids. I mean it made sense how they’re not use to big city’s but I mean I feel like you get to best of both worlds with coral gables. Still I’d rather have that big 10 oline. Just feel like our best teams had a mix of talent from all around the country.

With 2020 Isiah Walker leaning toward UF, Coach Barry needs to turn up the recruiting heat on Gentry.

Michigan seems to have made a big move with Gentry.

Go Canes

He's going to take a 2 year mission so he wouldn't even be on campus until 2022. Have we ever landed a Mormon kid out of high school?
he's taking a two-year mission followed by a year or two to get his strength up to college level and technique. This guy is not going to be ready for 4 years. I think we have more pressing needs.

“Sunshine U?” Don’t recall that one, but I do recall “Suntan U.”
Either way it’s all about the U!

Maybe we can convince him to take his mission in Miami....I mean it can feel pretty foreign and it's got plenty of sinners to convert.

Columbine
a really good football school. Our only shot is the fact that he will be away for 2 years. But will a kid like this stay at Miami? Kid will clearly have his options.

I did not see any pass blocking. Maybe Nebraska in his future.
