2020 DE Mason Mastrov receives PWO offer

6'5 205lbs (listed as 6'4 195 on 247 but not his current H/W) WDE from out of Moraga CA, goes to Campolindo HS.

Had a great Junior season with 87tcks & 17 sacks, is a long rangy kid with good motor.

Doesn't hold any major offers except to Air Force & has a PWO offer to Bama, but interest from Cal, Fresno St & Oregon St.

PWO's are basically walk-on players that are allowed to practice with the team throughout the year & can eventually earn their permanent spot on the 85 man official player roster after 2 seasons.

They can also sometimes participate in Summer school that can be paid for by the University (if it's allowed depending on the NCAA).

PWO's can get a scholarship after 2 years on the team in order to not be counted as apart of initial counter for number of schollies per year. They're basically practice players that after awhile earn the right to travel & some cases eventually can make their way on the field (which is rare at most P5's but sometimes happens at lesser schools).

Good pursuit and persistence, but he needs to add on significant weight (& strength conditioning) in order to have any chance to get some playing time in our D.
