6'0 185lbs 4-star CB from out Kansas City Missouri, goes to Raytown HS.

Is a tri-sport athlete plays Football, Basketball & runs track.

Ran a 10.67 in 100m back in May & runs a 4.55-58 40.

Has nice long armed frame with good speed, had 2INT's his Junior year & can tackle pretty well. Is also a dynamic Punt returner. His cover skills aren't high level yet, in fact needs work but you can see he has upside.

Just decommitted from Oklahoma today.

Holds offers from Oklahoma, TAMU, LSU, Oregon, Michigan, Notre Dame, AZ St, Tenn, Va Tech, Baylor & OK St.

I don't think he's saying that at all, he just asked why haven't we offered already.

Nothing wrong with the question.

I didn't read that at all the same way. To me it certainly implied that the staff should have offered already. There are 31 four & five star CB composite rankings on 247. A kid from Kansas City isn't necessarily going to be offered by Miami or a lot of schools. That's not how it works. It's much more complex than that.

Him being from Kansas City doesn't preclude him from being offered by Miami.

There's nothing wrong with asking why we hadn't offered him yet, the answer could be as simple as the staff either doesn't feel he would be interested or they didn't like what they saw on film.

He's a top 10 CB in the country with offers from good P5 teams, it's not outrageous to think he could be evaluated by us. It's not really that complex, it simply comes down to if the staff likes him & are interested, and if he's also interested as well.

Chances are he's not & neither is the staff, so it's no big deal.

Certainly doesn't preclude him from being offered. Just pointing out the further you move away from any school's geographic location it becomes more complex on why an offer hasn't been made.

Depends on the prospect.

This kid is from Kansas City Missouri, just a few hours away from where Jeff Thomas is from.

We offer kids from Cali, Texas, Louisiana & Nevada all the time, even in this recruiting cycle we've offered kids from Colorado, Washington & Arizona. ****, Theo Johnson the TE we're starting to turn up the heat on from the opening is from Canada.

Now I 100% agree that certain kids from certain areas are less likely to be interested or visit if they're from far away, so offering them may be a waste of time in some aspects but ultimately it really doesn't matter where they're from, if they're good & we like them, we'll offer. Doesn't mean we're going to land them or even get a visit, but it doesn't hurt to reach out just to see if they would be interested.

Yes, we do have offers out to kids from other states, but that's really only a small percentage in each state. There are plenty of highly regarded kids from those same states that haven't been offered. And not sure what Jeff Thomas has to do with this. Yes, he's a few hours away & he's one player. Let's stop talking about anomalies.

But i'm done with this. Don't want to derail the thread anymore than it already has. And you're a great poster on here, but I simply disagree. This kid appears to be a very good prospect. Hopefully whether from our side or his side after the decommitment interest is shown from one side & is reciprocated from the other.

Lol relax my man, nothing is being derailed, we're simply having a discussion.

And it's fine if you disagree I have no problem with that. Everything's good.

Oh no. I'm relaxed. I just meant we'd both made our points and we agree to disagree. Love the back & forth, but at this point I just want people to come on this thread to talk about the player. You know the drill on here, you and I might be having a solid convo, but then other posters might go down the rabbit hole and the entire thread will spiral out of control. Haha
