Would be a good, reliable game manager if King doesnt come back. I go to Wisconsin and he is efficient and careful with the football. Comparing him to Hornibrook @305407cane is totally unfair. Hornibrook was one of the most erratic and inconsistent QBs I've ever seen. Coan is the exact opposite.

Maybe true but I'd take him next year over an unproven Van Dyke and Garcia for one year (if King leaves of course)

At minimum we might need someone with experience in big games to go up against Bama and then, based on performance, potentially transition over to TVD or Garcia after our first bye week. Don’t want to ruin one of the young kids by getting them slaughtered by Bama.

That might be weak sauce but I have absolutely no reason to believe that Saban isn’t going to skull **** Manny.
