With the looming threat of junior kicker Michael Badgley possibly declaring early for the draft ---- (Just kidding) But seriously, Junior kicker Michael Badgley will be a senior next season, so the Hurricanes will be without one of the most important positions on their team... or will they be??

Meet 2019 Venice HS K Zack Sessa, he visited Miami over the weekend and talk to CanesInSight about the visit and more

"The visit was great." Sessa said "The atmosphere was amazing, the new stadium is beautiful. Overall the visit was amazing."

Zack is currently ranked the number one overall kicker in the nation according to Kornblue Kicking and he spoke with Miami TE coach Todd Hartley about his possible future with the team

"Miami hasn't offered me yet and that fine because i'm a sophomore and they still need time evaluate."

With Michael Badgley becoming a senior next season, playing time will definitely be available

"Coach Hartley and I were talking about how i could come in and continue the great tradition of Miami kickers." Sessa said "Badgley has played amazing and it's exciting because they're telling me there's a route to the kicker job for me."

While Sessa is only a sophomore, that hasn't stop school for showing interest in him

"USF is my only offer, but schools like Miami and Florida are showing me a lot of interest."

Zack didn't grow up rooting for any school in particular, but he wasn't shy about saying what the Miami offer would me to him

"To get an offer from TheU would be amazing, i could play for a great team that has a great fan base and has been at the highest level of college football."
