James Mitchell, Union, Tight End

While Brevin Jordan & Mustapha Muhammad are the top two TE's on our board, there's another TE prospect to take a look at...

He's an upcoming TE from Virginia, dual sport kid who played Basketball/Football, good size 6'4 210-220lbs & still growing.

Runs a 4.6, is a good Receiver & can block really well (especially for a Junior)... What I like most about this kid is he's ferocious, he plays with fire you love to see & is downright tough.

I was really impressed with his film, IMO this kid is the quintessential Miami TE... Doesn't have an offer yet, but hopefully he gets an eval from the staff, because this is the kind of sleeper that can turn into a beast after a Shirt year.

Some solid **** blocking . Nice find, would be interesting to see as a jumbo receiver if he can maintain that 4.6
 
Nice find!

Kid caught a TD pass, threw a TD pass, had a rush TD, and had an INT all the in the first 4 min of an 11 min highlight!

I agree, he's being used as a TE in High School the same we use our TE's now, which was part of what impressed me with his tape.

He's a TE/WR & has good speed for his position, Idk about the comp they play because his school is a 2A, but he looks like a pretty **** good player.

I have seen him as a So and a JR. He's play aginst the school I coach at the last 2 years. He's taller than 6'4 and he is long. He lines up all over on D. I think he has a higher ceiling on defense. He is an animal. The competition is very week. I have been told he is a cousin to Thomas and Julies Jones if so that is good blood lines.

He's also just recently received offers from Clemson & Va Tech & is now rated as a 4-star TE...

This kid is blowing up.
