Miami Offers 2018 TE Glenn Beal

Miami is the latest school to offer one of the nation's top junior tight ends.

New Orleans John Curtis four-star tight end Glenn Beal told 247Sports on Thursday that he picked up a scholarship offer from the Hurricanes.

Beal (6-4, 255) is pegged by 247Sports as the nation's No. 7 tight end and No. 107 overall prospect for the next recruiting cycle. He said that he has been in contact with Miami assistant coach Ron Dugans the past few weeks, and that he has plenty of interest in UM.

The Top247 recruit also claims offers from LSU, Texas, Texas A&M and Tulane. (Received offer from UCF today as well)

Miami fans will have a chance to see Beal in action on Friday as John Curtis is set to take on Brother Martin in a nationally televised game at 8 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

I think he's going to grow into an OL, maybe LT.

if he doesn't grow into that..he will be our inline blocking te of the future since Dobard is gone this year. We have an inline te committed for this year, but Richt likes these types in hi soffense, and we have in Irving 2 and Haskins two te to split out and move around in the HBack role.
