James Jackson IV - Hudl

He was 5-11/186 almost a year ago at a Nike Combine. He is now 200 lbs. Is also a fine receiver as well as a runner. Just started to run track this past spring and reduced his 100m time from first meet of 11.74 to final meet of 11.20. Burns best time this track season was 11.18 and best ever 11.10. He is doing good despite a so-so OL.

Kid seems to have it together and is an excellent student--

Yo CC, even though it's #BullsPride all day everyday! Lol... I reall like a lot of y'all prospects with the Chiefs...

2017: Wilder, Dingle & Naytron Culpepper who this staff should've been on, but I guess we missed our opportunity.

2018: Randy Russell (The Head Bussa!! We need to offer him soon!), Cam Davis (he just decommitted from Oregon St, I would like to see him as our 2nd RB in the 2018), Yasir Abdullah (4-star OLB with great speed, also needs an offer)...
I also like what I've seen of that kid Mark Carter & was absolutely impressed with Marlon Smith (basketball kid), he balled out in that Central game.

2019: Nayquan Wright (Super Savage!!!)

Do you know anything about OL Leonard Lucas? I haven't heard much about him this season...

Lucas is raw and still learning but has some ability. Probably a starter next year.

Russell is a sprinter on the track team at 200m and is not that far away from national elite high school time.

Here is a sleeper in this years 17 class and will surprise at the college level. Has a great motor. He was at Miramar with Owen Carney a year ago. Jamare Edwards is strong for HS well over 300 bench and 400 squat and can play DE or pass rushing DT. Listed at 6-4/242. may possibly grow into a McIntosh type DT.

NW has some real talent in the future---A few I have seen

Naturally Burns and Billy Joseph

Mark Fox (2019). OT 6-5/275. Looks like a big talented OL man from a local school in several years.. Liked him since I saw his play as a 240 pound freshman at center.

But also Sam Brooks (LB-19) guy has a motor OLB with a little more weight

Niget Bethel (WR/CB-18) 6 feet already and tremendous track speed (10.78-100m and 21.57-200m both below national elite for HS)

Absolutely!

I posted about a bunch of our prospects in the MNW vs CC highlights thread from a few weeks ago... >>https://www.canesinsight.com/thread...ighlights/104464?highlight=Miami+northwestern

We also got a couple more 2018 kids in Roy Livingstone, Sharrod Oliver & Julian Williams... I wish Troutman would've stayed with us, he's one of my favorite DB's for 2018.
You know Tutu & Billy Joseph just committed to FAU lol.

Brooks & Fox are both beasts too...

I was a little surprised the put Zech Esdallie (18) as an attack type DE from a DB/LB he was originally listed as at Nike. .Saw his numbers about a year ago at a Nike Combine and they were about as good as Sam Brooks and both were almost identical in height and weight. I guess they wanted a defense loaded with speed and wanted to get the best athletes on the filed. I cannot argue with the success they have had.
