Funny you say that. That is exactly the first thing that went through my mind. I wasn't going to mention it because I generally don't like these types of comparisons as they are usually unfounded and unfair to the player being compared. That being said there are some things in Marshall's highlight that most definitely remind me of Moss. My question is what type of speed does Marshall posses? It's obvious that he is fast enough and that football speed is not an issue. Just curious if Marshall posseses the type of elite speed that Moss had. Anyone have a 40 time for Marshall? Whatever his 40 time is at this point it is very plain for all to see that Marshall is an elite WR prospect.

Moss was a lot taller and much faster. This dude might have things he does as well as or better than Moss, but Moss might be the best deep threat in the history of football. He was basically uncoverable for a few years in the NFL.

I completely agree which is why I hate throwing things like that out there. Just to clarify I see certain similarities when I watch Marshall in terms of style but yes you are correct. Randy Moss is on a different level athletically and when you factor in his height and elite speed plus the way he exploded out of his breaks Moss is untouchable.

Just named us in his top 4 along with LSU, Texas, and A&M. Said earlier today he's "shutting his recruitment down" which I guess means only picking from those schools. Obviously that could change, but you have to think it's still significant to be one of those schools at this stage.

I don't understand how we're supposedly not legitimately in it for this kid even according to Pete. Seems the interest is real to me.

The NCAA should make a rule that any kid who announces a top anything other than a commitment will have to sit out a year before signing with anyone. This **** is getting real tired. He knows where he's going

It'll either be us or Texas with Texas the front runner. We're very much in it for him though.
