Another year another great season of HS football is upon us.

This thread is intended to talk about the games and matchups of different athletes throughout Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. Feel free to post scores and stats here.

We also will post weekly stat updates on Cane commits and targets in south Florida and outside of south Florida here as well.

We've had some really good threads the past few years let's keep it going.

Which teams do you guys think can hold up a state title from the tri county area this year?


8A Southridge, Gables, Deerfield, Flanagan, Columbus
7A STA, Dwyer
6A Carol City, Northwestern
5A American Heritage
4A BTW, Glades Central
3A Chaminade-Madonna
2A Champagnat
1A Pahokee

Kickoff Classic Schedule

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 16
Coconut Creek vs. North Miami at North Miami Stadium
Cooper City at Flanagan Cooper City 10-6
Homestead at Reagan 10-6
Miami High at Hialeah-Miami Lakes Miami High 45-0
University School at Nova

Is Miami High going to make the playoffs? I know they got Dontae Lucas. Don't know much else about that squad this year.
Seems like Homestead fell way off since those Ermon Lane years are the kids from Homestead and South Dade transferring to Southridge now?
Locals update me I moved from down there two years ago!

No. 2 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) vs. then-No. 20 Carol City (Miami Gardens) in a preseason game.

No. 11 Booker T. Washington (Miami) vs. American Heritage (Plantation) in a preseason game.

No. 12 South Pointe (Rock Hill, S.C.) vs. Northwestern (Rock Hill).

No. 15 Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, Tenn.) vs. Hillsboro (Nashville).

No. 22 Ben Davis (Indianapolis) at ****nal Tech (Indianapolis).

No. 25 Pearl, Miss., at Brookhaven, Miss.

No. 7 Chandler, Ariz. vs. Red Mountain (Mesa)

Hopefully that IMG vs Carol City game will be live streamed like last year. Want to see some of our current recruits. Especially Arthur, to see if he is the real deal or not.

Also I'm heading to Vegas next week for the Mayweather fight party. (I just moved from Vegas to DC two months ago and still got hella friends out there) I get there next Thursday so I'll be live at the Bishop Gorman - Dematha Catholic Game on Friday. Definitely will let you guys know what I see from Brevin Jordan live in person. That game will also be on ESPNU along with several others.

ESPN3 is going to have a great set of games coming up next Friday. You boys tune in!
