2017 S. Fl WR Crop

What does the crop of WR's look like in S. Fl and then the overall state of Florida for 2017? If we only get 4 WR's this year we'll have to take 3-4 next year too.

Hope Richt can do work on Trevon Grimes from STA who's a 5 star and no 2 rated WR. Seems like he doesn't have interest in Miami right now.

Emmanuel Greene from IMG is another good one who I think we have a nice shot at. Kid has the speed we've been looking for.

Those two would be amazing at the top of our WR haul, but Grimes looks like he'll be a tough pull. With Richt and Dugans I think we have a shot.

Isn't Greene the guy we offered when he was like 14? there was some video of him breaking ankles at an AG camp.

My early opinion is that South Florida is more loaded in 2017 than this year.

Junior year stats -- 29 receptions, 838 yards, 11 TDs
- That's 29 yards per catch!
- Thats a TD on more than 1/3 of his receptions (38%)

Jerry Jeudy is a stud on both sides of the ball

Other names include Trevon Grimes, Leroy Henley, Rodney Scott, Clevan Thomas, and Anthony White Jr.


If anyone has more to add or any info on the above, I'd love to learn more

Thank you. Are there any others outside of S. Fl that we should be looking at? I thought the Daewood kid that tried to commit was a good player as well? Kevaugh and E Greene are two that i have read about and i believe we lead or are in the top schools with them correct?
 
Jeudy > Grimes, even though he's rated slightly lower. He seems to be viewed as a heavy Bama lean, but at least our new staff has a full year to try to lure him to Miami.

Darrian Felix from Fort Myers and Juwan Burgess from Tampa are really impressive in-state talents.
 
Its so disgusting to see SoFla guys leaning to places like Columbus OH and Tuscaloosa AL. Wtf are you guys doing over there?

2017 needs to be OL and DL to the max. WR has been addressed with 2016...no need to clutter the board with WR threads this year.

no need to even waste resources on Grimes.

Go all in on Dingle though......

think some beast are down south....

we should have 2 wrs locally we should hone in on....and attack a national or non south florida kid....but Grimes is a waste of time.

Grimes is expected to commit to OSU at any moment. He's also not a true SFLA kid. Grew up in the Indiana I believe and has ties to Ohio. But go ahead and compare apples and oranges.

Michel was expected to commit to UM at any moment. Grew up in South Florida. Had friends at UM.. and Richt got him. Apples to apples... only Grimes should be easier to recruit bc hes in our backyard.
