I'll be honest, I have conflicting emotions about this WR class.

Bruce 5'8"
Mullins 5'10.5"

I like both of them - a lot - but we need some more size.

We'll see shortly if we land Richards (6'2") to get some much-needed size...

But answer this: while I don't want to lose any commit, especially to an embarrassing school like Tennessee, how is Williams (5'11") that much different than Bruce and/or Mullins (w/ Bruce's speed and shiftiness, he and Williams, in particular, seem redundant). I don't pretend to know as much as Richt or Dugans and I know we needed depth but still, where's the size needed for today's jump-ball game? Am I missing something or are we that desperate for depth?

to be successful, Miami must recruit the tri counties successfully

Bruce
Mullins
and
Richards are the best in each of the three counties and all will play early

I'm very happy about the wr class, getting williams or davis would have helped depth but Williams wouldn't have seen the field here for a while and I think that's why he went to tennessee, he realized he was staring at future on the bench

Agreed happy with the receiver class. Getting those 3 will be huge and expect them to play early. I am however concerned with DB Haul.

Miami was built on smaller very athletic kids. Plus the play book will play to their strengths lots of slants and drags. Just get the ball in their hands it wont matter how tall they are. We also have Cager and Coley on the team over 6'. Possibly getting Richards. We will be fine. Ill be a little more concerned if the 2017 class falls off which I don't see happening. Going to be a fun year Miami football will be fun to watch again.

2016 Depth Chart:

WR1: Coley, Mullins
WR2: Cager, Richards, Langham
WR3: Bruce, Berrios, Lewis

Not much depth but ALOT of talent to get it done. Bring in some studs in 2017 and we'll be alright moving forward

We brought in 3 WRs...all considered to be the some of the best in this class...I wouldn't care if they 5'5 that's a win. WitH that said we have size on yhe roster all ready and can always add more size moving forward.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Njoku lining up out wide too considering the depth.

Mullins missed last season due to grades. how do we know he's even going to qualify....we don't.

got the three we wanted. No complaints to be made about WR or LB. We got some legit talent coming in. Great job by the staff

Davis and Williams wwould've made it maybe the best wr class ever but I'm**** sure not complaining about these 3 monsters

Are weakness is red zone short yardage. We have always been a little weak there and short yardage. Back in the day, our backs and WRs took almost everything they touched to the house so it seldom mattered. There can never be too many fast big-play guys with great hands. Always nice to have big targets for QB but TE's do that well when you have a QB, like Kaaya, who can use them. That said, playmaker was more big than fast -- so big is good too.

You want size? That's what the TEs are for bro...

I don't know man, I know I'm comparing college with the pros but 8-10 years ago here in SD we had WRs Vincent Jackson (6'5") and Malcom Floyd (6'5") and TE Antonio Gates (6'4"). It made things real tough on opposing DBs. I'd love to see us get bigger at WR (not that every WR has to be 6'0" but I'd rather more at 6'0"+ rather than less). And please don't think I dislike Bruce & Mullins. I just wouldn't like it if all our WRs were sub-6'0.

I didn't pay much attention last year, is Langham a Golden special finally? I think other big schools were on him too, right?

That's plenty of depth ... Just have to avoid injuries.
