I see a 9 man rotation not factoring in the addition of a late signee/grad transfer. Question is, would this team be an upgrade over this year's team?

I see next year's team being very close to this year's team. This team will be Newton's team next year and I think he will be the vocal leader that McClellan and Rodriguez aren't. Huell should be a big time player from day 1. Muhammad is a wild card. McClellan struggled mightily at Texas and look what he has become with Coach L and his staff we'll see what kind of improvement he has made in practice. Also I expect Palmer to start at the 2 and Lawrence to come off the bench. Next year should be the makings of a very good team, one that will compete for the ACC again.

You forgot about Rodney Miller, and no chance Murphy will play C as he's too small. Lineup will likely be:

PG - Newton
SG - Reed
SF - Lawrence
PF - Huell
C - Miller

PF - Murphy
PG - Brown
SG - Muhammed

Have you seen Rodney Miller play? I like his potential, but he is nowhere near ready to be our starting C. This kid could benefit greatly from a RS season.

Next year I think we are a tournament team but we will take a step back. Going to be almost impossible to replace Sheldon.

Rodriguez nullifies anything Sheldon gives us, and he didn't exactly set the world on fire the last two games.

Sheldon is by far our most consistent scorer. We will miss that greatly.

Im a huge Rodriquez hater but nullifies anything Sheldon gives us? Thats a stretch.
