I think a great LB class this season will finally give this team the type of depth Miami needs to be successful. I would love to see a class of 3-4 solid LB's with a great combination of size and speed.

LB class I would love to land
Dillon Bates 6-3 218 (would love to have him but I think he goes to Tennessee)
Vincent Jackson 6-2 230
Terry McCray 6-2 225
Mike Smith 6-3 215

Yeargin has to be an option. Physically as gifted as MThomas.

Maybe it's just me, but it bothers me that he left Chaminade to go to University....don't know, I guess it's a lack of loyalty.

Andrew Beck from Tampa Plant needs to be in this class and he has an early offer from UM so its a matter of time.

Go Canes!

Is Bates related to James Bates the former UF linebacker who was their announcer and host?
Also Yeargin is on his 3rd school, he went from Gibbons to Chaminade to University now, Grades, behavior or loyalty might be an issue.

Jackson & Smith no doubt. I'm thinkin2 others we haven't heard about yet that Golden has up his sleeve from outta state.

As a DE - not as a LB.

That said, is Vincent Jackson defeinitely a LB at the next level? Or is he a DE all the way?

DE too much weight for a LB he'll be around 245 going into senior year and then will put more in a College Weight Room so I say DE like a lot of others as well.
