They already have the DB Michael Johnson committed for '13. Who cares if they get commitments from a bunch of not Cane-caliber recruits? It's better for us if they're using 'ships on kids that we don't want. FSU can have Johnson and Patten, we'll take Kirkland and Harris to seal up the Thomas towers.

This doesn't make sense. Would be more concerned with thomas and the rest of the btw crew signing with fsu then things coach fisher doesn't really do. He is more likely to allow a kid to come there on scholarship even after a career ending injury, he has class and a great coach.

Patten is really small, and the last time the Noles took an early commit from a small corner they dropped him because he didn't grow (Shelton). Wouldn't be surprised if that happened here.

Still anybody's ballgame. That said, we have bigger fish to fry. Burns and Carter are en route, and I'm sure we will add another. But to worry about a dude that said his commitment will be just over 50% is ludicrous. Like Jackie Johnson (FAP) saying there is a 50% chance of rain a week away. Who knows.
