So I was bored at lunch, checking out some lines for this weekend since I'm a degenerate gambler now, when I happen upon the odds for this year's Heisman contenders.



Johnny Manziel (QB Texas A&M) 4/1
Braxton Miller (QB Ohio State) 7/1
Marquis Lee (WR USC) 9/1
A.J. McCarron (QB Alabama) 10/1
Aaron Murray (QB Georgia) 10/1
De'Anthony Thomas (RB Oregon) 12/1
Duke Johnson (RB Miami) 12/1



After a thorough breakdown of schedules and returning starters, I can tell you with absolute certainty that our very own Duke Johnson will win the Heisman Trophy this season. Hop on now if you'd like to make some free cash.


I'm expecting 1604 yards rushing with 17 touchdowns. 391 in the air with 4 score (Lincoln lulz).


We have one of the most explosive players in college football. The fog over the program has lifted. Rejoice.

Can he wear that mask on a Gameday or is the NCAA going to give him ****?

I think Manziel is going to have a hard time winning it again this year. he benefited from not being allowed to talk to the media, and they were happy to vote for him based strictly on what he did on the field. But now that he's outchea in these clubs, courtside at Heat games, showing stacks in casinos, the media is just about mad as **** they they gave the award to someone who wasn't "Aww shucks I'm not really that good" and borderline ashamed about having talent. You can be the most talented person in the world, just don't let the media know that you know. Because then you're a self-centered diva who needs to show a little humility.

Just wait for that first picture to come out of him in a bar living it up after an A&M loss. Oooohwee John Saunder's volcano of self-righteous indignation will erupt all over Bristol.

Alabama will go undefeated or slip up once, McCarron will throw for 2,900yds/25TD/8INT and by virtue of having more NC's than losses as a starter he'll be lifting up that trophy. Book it.
 
Duke got HUGE in the off-season. God I cannot wait for the season to get here to see this kid light up teams again.
 
-WTH, how much cash did you put on Duke for Heisman?
-If Duke splashes all over UF's faces, he'll be legit Heisman contender. After that he gets to *** with the likes of savannah state, usf and georgia tech, at which point he'll have 4200 yards rushing, in addition to 637 yards on 3 carries vs. FAU. But if he goes 70 yards and 2 rec for 13 yards against UF, hall and oates can't go for that, no can do. Can't wait for 9/7. Signature performance?
