2013 GAME BY GAME PREVIEW WEEK 4 SAVANNAH STATE

I won’t go too deep into the Savannah State preview as there is little information available about this program.


Coaching: Savannah State has a new coach from a successful Hampton program to try to turn Savannah State Around.

QB: Quarterback Antonio Bostick returns for his junior season. He’s a Quincy, Florida native. Bostick is the team. Bostick is a dual-threat who is also the team’s leading rusher. He passed for 1600 yards and rushed for 648 yards.

HB: Junior RB Sheldon Barnes (362 yards) returns for his junior season as well.

WR: Junior WR Simon Heyward (700+ yards) returns this season. He counted for nearly half of all receiving yardage for Savannah.

OL: It's JUST BAD

Defense: Is terrible they allowed almost 45ppg to opponents.
Their pass defense seems to be pretty good. They allowed less than 200 yards a game last season. These numbers are skewed because of how bad their rush defense is.
They allowed opponents to run for over 300 yards per game.


OKST beat them 84-0 last season. FSU beat them 55-0 last season.

So Fans will love to hear this prediction.

None of our offensive starters will have good numbers because they won’t play past the 1st Quarter.
It’s a key game for our backups to pad stats.
Stephen Morris 150yards 1TD
Duke Johnson 85-150yards 2TD
Dallas Crawford 150-200yards 2-3TD's


Defense get's 5-8 sacks. 3-4 Turnover's. Special Teams Touchdown.






Final Score Miami 72-0

Miami is now 2-1 after a heartbreaking loss to UF at home. With a 2-1 record Miami is now receiving votes for the top 25.

I agree with most of it but ill say something along the lines of 56-3, considering Ryan Williams will be playing, and if we're 2-1 with wins again savannah state and FAU, I don't see us receiving votes. there will probably be 7 or 8 people at this game

The only PT Ryan Williams will be getting is mop up duty at the start of the 3rd quarter when it's 63-0.

stats game only....there should be free hookers and sunscreen for those going...I cant believe I pay what I pay for tickets and this is one of the games...
 
We better have Ereck Flowers scoring TD's this game. Hopefully at leas 34 different players get a chance to score a touchdown for this one.

I think we pull starters after the first but if they stay in that long without a doubt they will put up those type of numbers.
I like what you said about Corn Elder, he's not rocking a shirt. He'll get early burn. I'm curious as to who our team starts as far as KR goes.
 
I can't see golden running it up into anything past the 70s. Poor savannah st.


And Quincy fl? That place is like population 135. Dump of a town. Glad for anyone who gets out of there.

No reason at all to play this game. An extra week of practice would be more valuable.

BTW, the FSU game was called in the 3Q due to lightning. FSU could have easily scored 100....no exagerration.
 
2 scenarios

1. IF we lose the UF game

we are going to feel really bad about the season and the national media is going to dub as still a mediocre at best team. We need to keep the starters in and score 100 points and give morris insane amount of stats, duke as well and jump back in to national attention. Voters love that type of stuff, since they don't watch 95% of the games they vote on this will bring them to us.


2. IF we win the UF game

great time to try out some trick plays. Maybe Morris to Duke, and dook throws it to Hurns who punts it and Dorsett catches it in the end zone for 6. or kick field goals form the 50 to try out our new stud kicker

Golden won't RUTS. He'll play second and third team when the score gets too lopsided. I don't see a starter in the game after the 8 to 10 minute mark of Q3.

OSU would rather leave in their starters in all game and score 84 points.
 
Probably the worst team in the country D1 and D1 AA.. UM had no choice to play this game their weren't many options. 42-3 at the half.. Take out all starters and play 2nd and 3rd string guys.

Dingaan - I just did and stand corrected....the backup QB and others played a lot of minutes.

But backups or not don't tell me Mike Gundy won't RUTS.
 
funny that this team actually has Chris Jones the dt from out of Jaccksonville who Clint Hurtt was all over a long with his buddy Louis Nix. Think he went to Illinois first though.

Its important to score early an often in this game...i need a game where i get to see 3rd stringers play...and guys like Garrett Kidd need to be logging minutes.
If stacy Coley plays that kid will likely have 2 tds.
 
Brandon Yosha and Garrett Kidd should have stats in the box score. That's how bad this should get
