How important do you think winning the state championship is this year?

For Golden I think this is the perfect storm and he must win these games. I won't go as far as to say his career at Da U depends on it. But the recruiting trail will be a lot easier (not that we will sign every kid but in theory it will force Muschump/Jimbo-ho to at least be creative with the BS he dishes our way) the next few years. The instate sweep would validate him as a coach in the minds of the general public and recruits.

I personally think Miami will sweep the state & make the ACCCG pulling a close win in a shootout with Klempson. Muschump & Jim Botox will have nothing to say on the recruiting trail after that cuz Golden will be tea bagging them 2 ******* at will!!! :quag:

Duke is gonna have to play huge in both of those games if we want to win. The reason I want to beat both of these teams so bad is because we don't know when we will play UiF again, & we've gotten our *** kicked by FSU the past three years. Plus I hate both of their programs

Beating UF is more important, and is by far the most important game of the year. If we beat UF we can tell all the kids who want to play against the SEC competition that we beat Florida, one of the top SEC teams.

but yeah man I agree with you. It's obvious when looking at the schedule which two games are the most important. Florida IS the most important game of the season. If we win that one then the buzz will really start up. The media will be all over us as a dark horse for a BCS title game (won't happen, but with our schedule ESPN guys will talk about how all we have to do is get by FSU and then win the ACCG) and everything will really be buzzing. Nationally it will be a big game, but in the state of Florida this game will be HUGE. The build up throughout the week-or first two weeks- leading up to the game is going to mount day by day. Everyone that has a clue in Florida will be tuning in for this game.

If we beat Florida, everyone nationwide is buying up Miami Hurricane stocks for the next couple of years. If we lose, it stays the way it is. We need to win a game against a top team in a team conference. This is that opportunity. We need to erase the ND and K-State games last year where we got ***** slapped, and win this game. This is the game that either speeds up the re-building process by a year, or keeps it on the steady but sure pace it is right now, which is okay, but I want the process to speed up as everyone else here does as well.

SEC. Gaytors. In-state rivals. Every recruit in the state of Florida who isn't a moron is watching. I don't care if we win 2-0 or 45-42, or if some bull**** penalty against Florida wins us the game. Just win the ******* game so this program can take off again.
