According to a source close to the LSU coaches, they are trying to get DT Greg Gilmore (Hope Mills, NC) to commit. Word is Gilmore's mom dug her heels in and wants him to go to UF, a school that he received an offer from months ago. If that happens, it could be bad for Miami as their other options behind Gilmore are Miami D-Tackle commitment Keith Bryant and Jaynard Bostwick (another UM target), both of whom LSU feels confident with.

While I know Bryant personally, and he has assured me he is all UM, it might not be as clear cut as it seems as he is showing mutual interest in LSU. It something to keep an eye on.

Is this real talk Aziz or CANE LOCKS????

Not buying LSU whatsoever. Bryant has maintained his enthusiasm and Cane commitment, even with mom's objections, and Bostwick has been made a priority from Day 1, and knows he's needed and wanted here. So I say bullshyt to the LSU innuendo.......

Can Bostwick play DE? Seems like we need an impact player there and aren't actively recruiting many.

In his highlights he actually looks really good at DE. He is already a big boy though so it might be tough but I definitely think they will give him a look there. He is quick for a big kid.

I would like to take him at DE and bring Senat in as another DT to go along with Bryant and Bain.

I don't think we need Senat. Not that he isn't a good player but Moore and Ivery are both in the same mold as Senat. I think if Ivery hadn't gotten in, we may have gone after Senat. Still could be room for him because I don't know that it's 100% that Bostwick or Bain will be DT's (guess we should get them signed first too!)
