With the unknown penalty we face with NCAA sanctions, this class could very well be the glue that holds the team together.

First off, I think we get somewhere closer to USC type penalties, I'm thinking 10 schollies lost for 3 years and 2-3 year bowl ban. I pray to the almighty its less! but everyday that passes it looks worse and worse!

Second, 2012 was incredible and a massive foundation that will set this team up to possibly be elite again...

BUT, the way the team is now, in order to get through these ugly 2-3 years of sanctions, this class is ridiculously important to maintain and provide critical talent in important positions!

Olsen - absolutely must stay committed and will be the Man to hold the fort through the rough years
Collins - would be the key back for 2+ years assuming we only have duke for 2 more years.
Keith Bryant and hopefully 2 more DT would prove us with depth or hopefully big time play makers in a desperately needed area.
Jamal Carter, Artie Burns will add depth to Howard, Bush Crawford et all to make this secondary solid for the next 2-3 years
Dobard and Travis Johnson will hopefully (FINALLY) give us much needed talent at the tight end position.

Again, this is obviously assuming worst case, but if this happens, this class could be the glue to hold it all together! Just my opinion...

Last year's was more important in terms of laying the foundation. This year is a supplementary class

I was thinking more along the line of residual... 2012 is the class that will/could make us elite again. But when Morris is gone, Olsen (hopefully) will move us beyond, same with the others I listed.
