While we're giving a s/o to everyone involved with the program over the course of the investigation, how about some love for the special class of 2012?
They stood with the program and committed at a time when everyone was telling them we'd receive the death penalty. Even before the NCAA mess we were struggling with recruiting because of Shannon and all the relationships he destroyed.
The 2012 class, especially the South Florida kids, provided a momentum that was greatly needed at the time. Coach Golden obviously deserves a ton of credit but Duke, Deon, Tracy, etc. choosing to stay home was HUGE.
