Do we really only have 2 South Florida commits? Don't get me wrong Burns and Carter are both legit but we certainly aren't "locking down South Florida" and are far from it. This has nothing to do with the Kirkland situation as I know we will get more with Grace, Thomas, Collins, Bostwick, Coley in the mix. How are out of state kids higher on The U than kids who grew up watching us?

With what we are building, you either get on board or get passed by. OOS kids are taking the spots and locals are playing waiting games... PRIMA DONA BS aint gonna cutting with AG. We have, in the words of many of the south florida recruits, outrecruited other schools and shown them the most love. WELL, if that's the case and you really want in, tell the coaches so. Otherwise, you may not have the option.

Well, we're awaiting decisions on about 5-6 other SoFla prospects, so....

To be fair

There are only a few South FLA commits this year that even matter

Collins
Thomas
Grace
Kirkland
Jesus Wilson
Carter
Burns
Coley
Jackson
Keef
Bostwick

Of the above....only 4 have committed while 7 have yet to. And 2 of the 4 that have committed......are committed to Miami.

Jackson and Jesus Wilson (the other 2 that are committed elsewhere) are not Stacey Coley

another way to look at it, solid point
 
I think many don't understand that S. Fl is not all they make it out to be as far as recruits go.
You watch TV every Saturday and you see a kid from there on virtually every team. That doesn't mean all those kids together would make a great team.
How did the S. Fl haul work out for us in '08. I hate to say it but you saw a lot of selfish, not very football smart kids trying to do their own thing.
Bottom line is I trust Golden and staff, period.

Exactly...the "only two" sounds horrible, but when you look beyond the numbers, it makes a lot more sense.
 
This "2" is the new mantra. You think Al is glad that all these divas are dragging this **** out? I think he'd rather have 9 or 10, but he can't force guys to commit who won't commit. What's the alternative? Get a bunch of commits from guys he doesn't want just so the message board and media goofs can say "we have 10 S. FL commits". Then, the next sentence would be: "We're losing all the best players down here and are stuck with these "project"."

Holy ****, I sure don't begrudge a dime of that fat pay check he's making. The garbage he has to deal with in this community with the divas and the unsupportive local media and ****** a$$ crybaby fair weather fans. Yikes.com.

This. How he hasn't just said **** you all dropped the mic and walked the **** away is beyond me. Dude has had to deal with bull**** every step of the way.

He should ask for a 100k raise for evwry bull**** incident that occurs not of his doing lulz
