Casey Thompson isn’t that good. He transferred to a small school where his dad coaches and isn’t doing much. Very overrated. I say go all in on Fields and DTR, then start trying to find other targets

Not in the least. But I still think it’s stupid not to try. He can’t consider us if we don’t offer. Not like our QB situation is any better than UF, FSU or UGA. I’m sure Fields could care less who N’Kosi Perry is.

Fields wants to stay close to home so I think our best bet might be DTR especially if Mora gets canned but I saw we offered a DT QB today...

Maybe we could take Eason as a transfer? He would basically be the same year a Perry, so likely a garbage thought by me.

yep. spoke to my friend again today, and he says tuttle would be an all conference player under mark richt

Casey Thompson is ours for the taking. Kid will be a star at the next level.

Richt and company evaluated the QB position really poorly this cycle, in my opinion.

Being tall, fast and having a strong arm does not mean you're good. It just means you have potential.

I'll take production and a winner any day over a 7-on-7 guy that sucks when it comes to playing real football.

Of course we have tried man...****. This happens every recruiting season.
 
Give me Tuttle. Mission Hills is a good school that play good competition. The SD area don't get the hype that L.A. County, and San Bernardino County teams get in So Cal, but SD boys can ball. I like Tuttles game, waaaaay more than Sitkowski. Tuttle actually have the size, athleticism and brains.

Not sure the issue with AS. He has 65% completion % two TD and 1 Int against the number 2 team in Cali and number 2 team in AZ and beat each handily?? Why the hate? I'm sure if he is not UM caliber Richt will get someone who is but is numbers aren't bad. Did he do something off the field field?

Not sure if you've watched his games, but if you haven't, do yourself a favor.
 
Fairly certain we already tried with Thompson-Robinson and he didn’t have much if any interest. He was supposed to visit with Brevin when he first visited, but ended up not coming.

Personally, he’s been my favorite QB this cycle (Fields is right there but doesn’t seem to have any interest in Miami). I guess things could change if Mora is fired and we have a great season, but it’s not something I’m too hopeful about.

A couple more realistic options we should go after as far as dual threat guys go would be Jarren Williams (UK commit) and Adrian Martinez (Tennessee commit). Both are pretty good IMO. A couple others would be Jack Tuttle and Tanner McKee, although not sure those are realistic. Either way, although I had taken a wait-and-see approach with Sitkowski, seems pretty obvious we need to go in a different direction. Let the kid go to Rutgers.
