The NCSU game will tell us a lot IMO. That's a big game on the road against a team who might have as much if not more talent than us. I think we can play with anyone in the nation, Kansas and Michigan included.

Expected, but I was holding out hope we were higher. The VT game is HUGE. I expect us to lose to NC State. We're better than they are, but they have absolutely owned us, especially in Raleigh (it's the one ACC city we have NEVER won in), and I expect them to be pumped and to show up (like they did against UNC and Duke). They seem to play to the level of their competition, which is why they lost to Wake and squeaked by Clemson and BC. They do, however, seem to show up for big games. With all of that said, we need to beat VT, because going 0-2 on this road trip will be bad. It won't knock us out of the tournament, but it'll likely erase all of the momentum we have built the last 4-5 weeks. I'd be fine with a split this week.

to me that NCSU game will tell us a lot about of this team. theyre good but to make a run deep run you have to prove you can win against other top tier teams. so far weve beaten 2 ranked teams (both at home) lost to 1 (neutral) and we need to win this one saturday bc itll be our first true road test thus far (UNC is a tough place to play but they havent been nearly as good as they usually are) against a ranked team w a ton of talent
