We'd play Western Illinois in the first round (second round with new terminology) and then winner of Oklahoma-VCU in the 2nd (3rd) round. Michigan State is the #2 in our region. Duke, Indiana and Michigan the other #1 seeds.

Other ACC teams, UNC #11, NC State #8. Other teams from OOC schedule, #2 Arizona, #12 Indiana State, #11 LaSalle, #15 Florida Gulf Coast.

If we got that bracket I would absolutely love it. We've already beat Mich St. this year and out of the 3 seeds, New Mexico isn't too scary. I really believe we could make a DEEP run in that bracket.

Middle of what pack? To get back in the middle of the pack, we'd have to lose like 4-5 games. Lose to FSU, which we very may well, and we'd be dropped to #7 or #8 and a #2 seed in most projections (as long as we beat Clemson Sunday).

Every game is important but this week is very big. Win both and it proves we have a solid team that is focused, mentally tough, and able to handle the spotlight, at least in the media's eyes and it will help getting the remaining doubters off the fence. Lose, and we lose the momentum we had and Virginia to face at home. Virginia has been on a roll lately, they beat the **** out of somebody last week, Clemson maybe? They were up by 30 or so so I didnt watch much.

They also lost to Georgia Tech. UVA on the road is an average team.

Arizona doesnt worry me much anymore. We shot 10% when we played them the first time, and couldnt score inside without Reggie.
