‘26 QB Dereon Coleman commits to Miami

Saw him live in the State Championship against Heritage. He's 5'10 at best.

Regardless, kid is a BALLER. Has the potential to be a better and more polished DTR when he was at UCLA. By his final year in College (whenever that may be) he will be pushing for 50 Total TDs.
I am 5'10" and he is a little taller than me

I stood next to him last year, I can only tell you what I observed with my own eyes.

TBH, I am not at all hung up on his height. King was a great QB for us. I'm more concerned about his pocket presence, which as I noted above may be partially related to both his height and frame -- e.g.., learning lanes, working around much taller defenders with hands in the air, avoiding being folded by 2 300' dudes, etc. But he has to overcome that issue to be great. Everything else he does looks good to elite to me.

Kid will crush 7x7s, and out-athlete high schoolers. It's how he handles grown *** men coming at him at 20+ mph that will dictate the level of his success in college and beyond.

Possible you maybe shrunk 1/2"?
Nah its cool, I am not going to argue with you about the height of a high school kid that I have talked to and stood next to. Whatever you feel he is, then that is fine.
Notice I didn't say how tall I thought he was, I just said he was a little taller than me and I am 5'10".
Honestly, a couple inches mean nothing if you can ball out. If he sticks with his commitment, then he will have a chance to play for us and if he can't play then we recruit someone else or hit the portal. It's not worth arguing over. The situation will play itself out soon enough. I just want us to win the ACC next year and play in the playoff. His height won't have anything to do with that.
