Dude can play if he has a guy like Pack on him. He's a solid player, but let's pump the brakes. I'm quite sure that if he had to deal with George and Cleveland the entire game, he would have scored 16-20, not 30+

Nah, dude is your run of the mill junkballer, that relies on refball. He can get hot, and that's exactly what he is right now. Dude is blazing, but you saw him struggle anytime someone with length got on him. Cleveland had him chucking prayers, that isn't sustainable.

Bens is a guy that can be a starter but is at his best coming off the bench. George gives this team something that Bens can't and that's high end size.

Take your chances. Honestly, late in games, when we need stops, Pack shouldn't be out there. The defensive 5 should be Bens, George, Wooga, Matt and Norchad. Bring in Pack when you can for O, but it's rare that he is able to defend anyone.

George has to be on Pedulla. Pack isn't going to win that matchup.

Dude shoots **** near 50% from deep.

Defensive intensity has been hit or miss, but it's an improvement over the first half. That said, Miami needs to win this game at the line. Get to the line, force VT to foul, if they collapse inside, hit open shooters. It's obvious Miami doesn't have any kind of answer for Kidd, and Omier...

Exactly. That ankle needs time to heal. Dude is battling, but there are balls he just can't get to, because he doesn't trust it. Hopefully he turns the corner in the next couple of weeks, or Casey can be something other than a complete waste of a scholarship.

So, guy spins wildly into the lane, defender gets ball, somehow that's a foul on the backside guy who is just keeping pace? It's almost like refs have no idea what they are seeing and just make calls to make them. Where did the D gain an advantage there?

George got screwed twice on two consecutive possessions. If that's a charge, then there's no point in driving to the hole, because all you have to do is figure out how to get somewhat in the way, defensive positioning doesn't matter....

The issue right now is consistency. George has the measurables to be a legit lock down defender, the question is whether he has the will. A classic example of a guy with good measureables that imposed his will on the defensive end is Davon Reed. Reed had that mindset from day one, he saw his...

Wooga is starting to understand that VT doesn't have anyone that can stay in front of him. Get to the rack and keep going to the rack.

Not a good half, AT ALL, but this team is still in the fight. Defensively, need more intensity, also shot selection has to get better on the offensive end. If you are struggling, know when to shoot, and from where. Cleveland and Pack came to play. I think Omier and Wooga are pressing WAY TOO...

Hedging on the perimeter requires you to move your feet, Tech's bigs are throwing hip checks out there. That said, these offensive struggles are frustrating, guys gotta find a way to keep pace, get some easy shots to get confidence.
