When I watched Stockbridge the first time Ezzard caught like 7 TDS in 1 game. 1 or 2 was called back. After the game I asked his coach about him and he said “oh he’s committed to FSU” I told him I was a canes fan and that he needed to redirect the kid somewhere else.. at the time Miami hadn’t offered. I said I wish he’d be a cane or just go somewhere other than FSU. He decommits unexpectedly days later. Then a few weeks later we get in the picture...

Just read a message from his coach from earlier today... “Do you remember what you said about Marquez a couple months ago? It happened”

Dugans and Richt apparently closed the door today

Prior to this it had been he was interested in the playing time opportunity at Ole Miss and the offense they run but he has always loved Richt and Dugans. There was a point they almost backed away because he didn’t seem interested in Miami. But they kept pushing and apparently built by far the best relationship of his recruitment. His coach has always held that if Georgia offered he’d commit on the spot and that still holds true. Just hope they don’t need a late signing day WR because Georgia is aware that is the case with him..

What is the likelihood that UGA makes their offer committable late in the game? I see they only have 1 WR in this class so far and didn't sign many in the previous class either. Who else are they on at WR at this point?

Anybody plan on getting back to talk about Ezzard or ppl goin to continue hijacking the thread

This. It’s getting ridiculous here. The sad part is lots of these trolls are so called Cane fans ruining this site. It’s pathetic.

Ezzard is a good WR. I want him in this class. Keep discussing this...

You've never lied on this board, I believe you. I'd be surprised if we don't get a public commitment this weekend.

Would love nothing more than to pull Ezzard and Tyson from the Pups in the 11th hour.

Do you live your life in a nuclear bomb shelter from the 50's? Honest question.

And he's a flip from FSU......

Anyone doubting this kid keep in mind Richt and Jimbo want him. Two of the most accomplished offensive coaches of the last 25 years.

What is the problem with the question I asked?

Wouldn't be surprised to see Spermy Fart swoop in at the last second just to stick it to Rick and UM.

That was my first thought when I read that a coupe days ago. They only have 1 reciever signed/committed this cycle. But have two of the top 5 in the country committed for next.

Let's hope they are so tight on scholarship numbers they can't work in a last second offer.

His coach has told him not to bank on getting the offer. His teammate (Brenton Cox) apparently has something against Richt. Didn’t even ask why or want to know because I’m sure it’s stupid. But he’s basically been negatively recruiting Miami towards Ezzard pushing Ole Miss (or Georgia if they offer). Coaches tried to talk to Cox the first time they went up there just to touch base because we needed DTs... this was months ago btw... and all I was told is his attitude towards our staff was really bad.

Information on Cox is just fwiw if anyone cares. Thought it was interesting

I remember months ago (I believe) Cox was making weird comments about Canes coaches.

You are correct, I just looked up Cox and wasn’t him. It was the IMG kid, which is weird also

Looks like a girl from his high school is visiting for track and field this weekend too. Chess not checkers

He decommitted from them but technically that makes it not a flip. But he definitely told them to F their own face
