Class of 2012 DB Willie Bailey (Hallandale) has been granted a release from UF. Bailey has contacted Miami and there is mutual interest.

The 6'1", 175 pound DB was an early Miami commitment in 2011 before switching to UF in April 2011.

Here are Bailey's highlights from his senior year in high school:

free and clear release? those are pretty rare in this day and age.

goodluck to the kid, wherever he ends up

From that Sf Express video Miami could end up with almost all of those kids. Tracy Howard, Stacey Coley, Duke, Deon.... Too bad that Leggett kid couldn't come.

I have no clue if there are any restrictions. All I know is that he got in touch with them and there is interest on Miami's side. Could mean nothing.

Bailey is to D as Garmon is to O. Too many guys in place already and too many studs coming in. Should have signed when you had the chance.

On to the next one.

Here is some more video of Bailey. Skip to 3:40 ... this was the famous video with Deon, Tracy, AJ, Duke, etc.

I really think he would be a good pickup if it happens. Long arms, VERY fluid in coverage. Can play safety and I think he brings something different to the table. Needs to add some weight but he would have to sit out a year so that could benefit him.
