He has never owned up to anything all year. Just like with some of his across body picks. He literally said he practices those and will continue to throw those.

Nah, you don't actually. When you know what you are doing is causing harm to your team, you are now putting yourself before the squad. One thing is to be aggressive and take shots, another is to make decisions that are without questing hurting your squad and not giving a ****.

I was worried last week when Cam blew off the horrible pick versus Duke as 'that just happens' (or something to that effect).

I dont think anyone is advocating to bench Cam, what i would like is for him to be more aware of the down and distance, situational football. It was the 4th Q, 2nd and 10, 2mins left. He had arroyo in the flat for 4-6 yards maybe more, instead he starts running around in the pocket and takes a strip sack.
i love Cam, best QB we've had, but that doesnt mean he cant get better. he needs to be aware of the situation, he brings up Tom Brady alot. well situational football would have dictated to take the yards, Arroyo gets out of bounds and then you have 2 more downs to get the first and keep moving. Instead he made a selfish play and cost the game.
You're right and Cam needs to accept criticism, although probably not from the media but in the film room. But it really isn't his fault we lost. He put up huge numbers again in what has become expected. The D's inability to get off the field is killing this season; it's not even that we give up 28 points, but that we allow the other team to dictate the TOP and flow of the game so then the offense struggles when we need them most.
He is aware. It is a choice.
We got the best mercenary in the country and it is paying off, but he was always in this for himself. He knows exactly what he is doing.
Problem is he doesn't understand that taking those check downs and underneath WRs would make him look even better.

No , it’s sarcasm by the ones saying it mocking those who actually have some negative comments about Wards decision making at times. So in return they must go hyperbolic route of saying “ bench Cam”. It’s a CIS go to. One extreme or the other here. The sad thing for Cam is some of his careless decisions bordering on arrogance is only hurting him in GM’s eyes. Winning plays aren’t only the **** big throws downfield , sometimes it’s living to fight another down with check downs / throw aways.
There was a minimum of 4-5 plays yesterday he had easy check downs or crossers that maybe get’s a first down or short yardage. Instead of a sack , punt or fumble. We all know he’s stirring this drink but it’s ok to coach him and to question decisions at times. I mean if that doesn’t happen how will a person get better ?
