Dont care about the beef y’all have, but the reality is no one knows a **** thing, yet people keep coming up with different sauces adding to the fray.
I for one appreciate the anecdotal information that many posters bring to this board. IMO, that's what makes this board enjoyable and some times insightful.
Not sure why so many crap on those people, from Rattler, Brooklyndee, Coach Macho to even JgDa. At the end of the day, whether it is Pete or someone else, it is all subject to being wrong.

Not sure if this has been asked. I know Campbell is elite talent, but does it say something about him that he would do this to someone so close to him or does he simply think Miami is a weak option for him? This is a big decision and for us to say that he "should do what is right" is self serving, obviously. I feel for Rumph as this is a reflection of his recruiting ability, justly or unjustly. I'm still pretty happy with our class and whomever we get at that position will be a Cane and if Campbell goes elsewhere, he is not a Cane and will never be. That's something he will have to live with when we peak. Also, I don't wish him good luck elsewhere. Leave us hanging and I wish nothing but a sub-par college career full of frustration and bitterness (not injury).
I'll second that. Anyone who thinks that this isn't fluid is kidding themselves. These are teenagers. If you hear something [MENTION=10155]JgDaCane[/MENTION] from a current recruit...I appreciate the info. But, certainly not going to complain if it isn't 100% accurate 100% of the time. That's not reality.

JgDaCane is a joke. Told us the DTs would return and if they didnt, he would ban himself. Yet he is still here giving us information from his made up sources. Based on his sources he knows a recruit and he also knows someone within the program that knew RJ and Norton were staying. I don't get everyones desire to be an insider.

I’ll take Realous George’s word for it when he says recruits are coming. He’s on the god **** team.
In reality that 'ban yourself' thing has never been serious from anyone, and is merely used as hyperbole to express how certain they are that a given event will happen. People are wrong sometimes. Forgive and forget my dude.

Wrong. People have been banned before for saying "if I am wrong you can band me." And if allow this "hyperbole" then this board becomes crap. More crap than it already it is.

Did Tyson grow up a UGA fan or with some genetic predilection for choosing UGA? Or did UGA do a great job recruiting him and convincing him that UGA is the best place for him?
People buy cars and all kinds of **** they didn’t really need because there are great salesmen out there. Same thing with pitching recruits.

Despite what Pete said (no flame) I think if FSU has spot for him, he ends up there.
Use your coconut, friend. If Bethel had a real offer he would have jumped in as soon as UF dumped him and his remaining choices were us, Akron, and the rest of the MAC and Sunbelt. Bethel will only be able to come here if we whiff on Campbell and/or Surtain. Don’t listen to junk you hear if it doesn’t make sense.
It’s everybody....he picked up 6 UM CB’s in the past week from Ivins, Alex Gleitman, Demetric Warren, and Cristopher Nee...with the other being followers.

I recruit for a living. I'm an executive recruiter for a health care company based in Nashville. I work for a pretty big company, but it's not one of the colossal health care companies like HCA or UnitedHealth and we definitely don't have the brand recognition of our larger competitors. I recruit people every day that aren't looking for a job or are happy where they are. They don't know **** about us, don't think we are as good, don't believe in our brand, etc. It's all sales and convincing the CEO or Controller that your company is better than the other company and that you will put them and their family in a place to be successful professionally and personally. The good recruiters know how to read a candidate, identify what is important and sell them on what they can offer and make that candidate feel like they are the only one for that job. It's not hard for someone that can sell (in this case selling an organization) but I've seen plenty of people struggle with the concept of selling people on a organization and have fizzled out or just have been bad. Most of the time, it's the person that doesn't make the candidate feel like the best candidate in the room or doesn't know how to adequately explain how our business model, direction, whatever can benefit them and their skills that suck. It's all sales.
