I said most of this stuff on the Podcast, which you can watch here, but figured I should summarize it for the board:

- As I reported on Tuesday, I like Miami's trend with elite JUCO OT giant Markell Bell. I also like Miami’s chances with RB Jordan Lyle (STA) and DB Xavier Lucas (American Heritage).

- TE Elija Lofton (Las Vegas) continues to reaffirm his commitment to Miami and says he is not visiting Texas. It's recruiting, but Miami is confident for now.

- Miami remains in a good place with CB Zavier Mincey (Daytona Beach) after his teammate LJ McCray's commitment to Florida but there will be competition until the end.

- One name that has been quiet that Miami is sky-high on- LB commit Cam Pruitt (Mobile, AL). They feel he is one of the best LBs in the nation based on senior film, as he is playing WR and all over the defense.

- I don't think Miami will be pursuing DL Antonio Alfano (JUCO).

- Miami is still in the game with DL Armondo Blount (Central). Not a done deal by any means but we are pursuing hard.

Seems like ever DB we're recruiting is going to be a safety in 2 years.
I really like the LBs we've gotten last year and this year... They better step the **** up next season. The athleticism upgrade would be massive.
Blount... That dude is about to end up at Colorado or something. Who the **** commits, flips to the rival within a month, then within a week theres still talk going on lol.

With Lyle, do they expect flips or guys leaving? Because as it stands all backs are able to come back, a couple transferred in and doubt they would transfer out to sit out a year (Allen, Parrish) and most are local so there is no home to transfer to.. We really need dam near 10 scholarship backs next year??

I really hope TVD and Dawson get back on track, our NIL programs are well funded and we win some games. Still a lot of movement to go, hopefully with the wind at our backs.

Do Chris Johnson and Hellcat have to be used strictly as RBs though?

Where you got them playing? We play an extremely slow pace, keep snap counts down so we dont really play alot of backups.. I dont see alot of creativity in our offense, we barely can get Brashard snaps. Restrepo comes back, you have him starting and getting majority of snaps, Brashard on sideline next to coaches as most explosive player who probably would be next and Ray Ray behind him hoping to get a couple snaps if he can get any. Washington probably trying to get some type of role and Ny Carr coming in also.

Where you see them having a role in Cristobal ball control offense?

Well my first choice may not be their first choice, lol. And their vote counts mine doesn’t. But I personally would try them out at CB.

That said, Dawson needs to start running those vertical concepts he is supposedly an expert in. No defense could protect against that level of speed if we had 4 or 5 receiver sets. Heck have Brashard as your RB and slip him underneath if there’s no blitzer coming. Speed kills.
