LET'S GOOOOOOOOO! The series y'all love is back!
South Florida's 2024 class was loaded with QB talent. We had 6 QBs go Power 4 and 10 in total sign FBS scholarships, which was a South Florida record! CJ Bailey (NC State) became starter for the Wolfpack midway through the season and was serviceable. The rest of the QBs all look like they have bright futures.
This class, we have one FBS quarterback.
Bekkem Kritza, Chaminade Madonna (6'5" 198) - Tall, lanky QB with good arm talent. Originally from Boulder, Colorado. Played QB at Boulder (Colo.) Fairview HS as a freshman and turned in a great campaign with 3,192 passing yards and 23 total TDs (22 passing, one rushing) Transferred to Santa Margarita Catholic in California as a sophomore and backed up Washington State signee Jaxon Potter. He moved AGAIN, this time to the fabled Rockets of Miami Central High. He lost the QB battle to a 5'9" Killian transfer that signed with Edward Waters. He transferred back to Boulder Fairview, but wasn't able to play until game 6 due to transfer rules, and finished the season in Colorado with 1700 passing yards on 55% completion with 20 TDs to 3 picks. He came back to Miami Central as a senior, lost another starting job then transferred midseason to Chaminade Madonna. He lost another QB battle and played in spot duty. Averaged 11 points and 6 rebounds a game on the basketball court as a freshman. Penn State signee.
