South Florida will always have a ton of FBS receivers. But compared to other classes, this is not a great group. I thought last year's crop was much deeper and more explosive. A lot of these guys will become good players, but I'm glad Miami loaded up in '18. Expect next year's group (2020) to blow this class out the water.
Frank Ladson- 6’3, 178* (South Dade)- Tall deep threat with effortless speed. 10.96 in the 100M and 22.41 in the 200M. Needs to get stronger but clear star potential. Clemson commit.
John Dunmore- 6'2, 172, 4.72* (Chaminade)- Well-traveled receiver with intriguing upside. Dominated at times on the camp circuit with his route-running and length. Put up 101.4 SPARQ score, including a 4.25 shuttle and 37.1 vertical leap. Unique combination of quickness and size. Committed to Penn State.
Zay Flowers- 5’10, 165 (University)- Explosive two-way player who does not get enough attention. Gets off the line quick. Physical tackler and dangerous blitzer. He can be a stud WR but I love him on defense. May be the best football player on team with Kenny McIntosh and Josh Sanguinetti.
Amari Johnson- 5'9, 165 (Carol City)- Emerging, underrated WR with juice. Hallandale transfer. State champion in the 300M hurdles (36.92) and second in 110M hurdles (13.96 PR). Also runs 21.9 in the 200M. Plays strong and breaks tackles. High energy. Can track the ball. UCF commit with bigger upside.
Amari Johnson- HL
Brieon Fuller- 6’0, 179, 4.78* (Doral)- Productive receiver with mature game. Runs sharp routes. Lacks speed but has solid size and good quickness. Nebraska and Oregon offers.
Brieon Fuller HL
Kalani Norris- 5’11, 163, 4.67* (Columbus)- Sharp route runner who works best out of the slot. Plays with suddenness and gets upfield. QB-friendly and works back to the ball. Solid receiver with high floor.
Kalani Norris HL
Najeh Baker- 5’10, 157, 4.82* (South Dade)- The perfect complement to teammate Frank Ladson. What Baker lacks in deep speed, he makes up for with plus quickness and instincts. Also a quality punt returner. Extremely QB friendly. Toledo commit who should be a very productive college player. Underrated.
Najeh Baker HL
Jymetre Hester- 5'11, 160 (Belle Glade)- Son of former LA Rams first round pick Jessie Hester. Plays on the balls of his feet, like fellow Raider Travis Benjamin. Size is a concern. Quick out of breaks. 11.20 100M. Has lower FBS offers but has the talent to merit Power 5 interest.
Jymetre Hester HL
Donte Banton- 6’, 175, 4.58* (Deerfield Beach)- Strong WR with Power 5 physical tools. Excellent testing numbers. Difficult to bring down with the first tackle. Offers from Utah, Kentucky and Nebraska.
Donte Banton HL
Jamal Cooney- 5’8, 136, 4.66* (St. Thomas)- Has a chance to be this year’s Mike Harley. Exploded on the camp circuit with a lethal combination of quickness and burst. His off-season success translated to the early part of the season, as he starred against DeMatha on national TV. Nice upside as he gains weight.
Jamal Cooney Camp HL
Ronald Fanfan- 6’1, 175, 4.78* (North Miami)- Big, productive receiver with ball skills. Was the go-to guy for current Northwestern QB Isaiah Velez. Speed is an issue. East Carolina offer.
Ronald Fanfan HL
Richard Sam- 6’1, 179, 4.70* (North Miami)- Another big receiver who excelled with Velez. Had a nice performance at the Opening (96.3 SPARQ, 38-inch VJ) which generated some buzz. Also has upside on defense. Nebraska and East Carolina offers.
Richard Sam HL
Kingsley Grissett- 6’4, 193* (Piper)- Big-bodied wide receiver with even more room to grow. Gets off line with surprising burst for a big receiver. Limited HS film but opened eyes on camp circuit.
Kingsley Grissett Camp HL
Grantis Poole- 5’9, 170 (Chaminade)- Ely transfer with speed. 11.00 100M as a sophomore, likely faster now. Dangerous on kick returns. UNLV commit.
Grantis Poole HL
Rasaad Sawyer- 5’9 155 (Gables)- Under-the-radar talent with the typical Dade combination of quickness and awareness. Gets off the line in a hurry. Would be a bigger name in a more explosive offense.
Rasaad Sawyer HL
Jaylin Young- 5’11, 165 (Central)- Hallandale transfer who was part of national champion South Florida Express 7-on-7 team. Another kid with a typical South Florida WR profile- quickness to separate, adjusts to the ball and has some PR ability.
Jaylin Young HL
Marlin Mayo- 5’11, 150 (Coconut Creek)- Chaminade transfer with straight-line speed. Dangerous on jet sweeps. Shows some ability to adjust to off-target passes. KR experience.
Marlin Mayo HL
Dashaun Davis- 5’9, 160 (Deerfield Beach)- Ely transfer is now part of loaded Deerfield receiving corps. Profiles in the slot. Quick and productive hands catcher. Also has some experience on defense. Appalachian State commit.

Christian Wells HL
