Miami has pulled away from a 7-7 game at the half the Canes are up 54-24.
Here are some of my halftime thoughts:
Jalil Bethea really made an impact when the Canes were tied at the media timeout at the beginning. He stepped up and went 3-for-3 in just a matter of minutes, proving he’s the kind of player who can turn the game around in no time.
Meanwhile, Lynn Kidd is on the verge of a double-double, contributing 4 points and grabbing 8 rebounds.
Miami is dominating on the board with the Canes having 12 offensive boards total.
Paul Djobet looked really good in the first half with Nijel and Paul leading the scoring at 11.
Nine Miami players already got a score in the first half:
Jalil Bethea with 10
Nijel Pack with 11
Jalen Blackmon with 6
Lynn Kidd with 4
Yussi Basa-Ama with 4
Paul Djobet with 10
AJ Staton-McCray with 3
Brandon Johnson with 4
Divi Ugochukwu with 1
