patterson and day have talent. Isiah Thomas is a legit safety if healthy. We need someone in the portal and a DC who can coach.
I have seen enough from Pruitt,Quan, OJ, Popo, Scott, etc to know we have talent, its a coaching issue.

I'm sure they did but WRT us I think it's more than that. Seems like we're losing defensive commits more than offensive guys. We picked up the Lowe kid but I assume thats the HOFer Jason Taylor effect.
We're gonna make changes on the defensive coaching staff, but the product was beyond awful. Also we signed a ton of top flight defensive players over the last couple of years, especially last year. I don't think it's far fetched to think that other coaches are saying, "their defense historically sucked why would you want to play there? They're gonna fire all their defensive coaches. They signed all these defensive studs last couple of years and kept playing the trash bum upperclassmen instead."

But if you focus too much on '25 and neglect future talent you turn into '24 FSU....
Try top 50-100 player and top 5 saftey in the coutry.
The way you get less busts at that position is just by recruiting over them and not having to play guys like 7 in the starting lineup. Stubbs won't hurt next year, but will in the years after where he's needed for depth

This is simply UF now having money and promoting a 7-5 season against a tough schedule with a freshman QB as a huge success

We are totally stacked other then Quarterback next year. We havent this much depth on our team since 2001 . FSU was totally built on cards . Its alot different.

This is why Mario has to tell the kids he’s firing LG. LG obviously prioritizes the guys he thinks should start over everything else. Ego got the better of him and we can do better. MC needs a big time DC here if kids are going to take us seriously.
