Robby Washington Midseason HL

If he stays focused and sticks with the program, he is an immediate impact player. Tough, competitive, twitchy and quick with long speed and enough strength to handle contact.

Is he better / more talented than B Smith? Smith, somewhat similar sized, was quite hyped when crooted. He's turning into a solid player but not the explosive playmaker we need...What's the honest truth here with Robby?

I know the next guys are always better than the ones we have

But he has game changer speed

Something we are sorely lacking

Can’t wait. He looks physically ready even if he’s a touch undersized

My brain went to the same place

I’m trying to look at it objectively but Washington looks to have a bit more explosiveness. Runs a little stronger

But I could just be falling for the trap

They definitely have a lot in common, and I think them both going to Palmetto helps to them being lumped together somewhat. But I think agility, explosiveness, toughness are both very similar but Robby has more straight line speed. Brashard was used a bit more as a gadget player in high school but Robby is used a bit more from the boundary. I don't recall seeing any deep post routes from Brashards highlights compared to Robby.

Too much body catching. Love everything else about the highlights.
Lol yep better believe we will be complaining about drops with the body catching

We haven't had a guy like this on screen plays in a long time. We just haven't had his like at all. He'd have a lot more TD"s on that tape of his if his QB got him the ball on time and in stride. Dangerous kid with the ball in his hands.

Palmetto has been having QB problems in 2022. They've tried three and settled on a 10th grader. Its been hard getting it into Robbie's hands a lot.

When Washington gets the ball, hes quick and on punt returns he is electric.

Yeah I feel like Smith catfished me. I just knew he would be breaking 60 yard plays regularly

Guys been at this for awhile I dont stress it for no reason. If you claim to be a fast guy, you gonna have verified times, dont tell me about track coach saying he ran a time in track practice.. If you fast, you been lining it up since elementary school! I dont know an explosive cfb player without verified times, google any of them gamebreakers you can think of and they have times, Santana, Hester, Bush, Ginn, Lamar Miller, Travis Benjamin, Percy, Maclin, Devota Smith, Ruggs, Waddle, Tyreek, Denard, De'anthony Thomas, etc.

There were a couple threads for brashard but asked a couple times about his speed because was told he ran a 4.4 but on film it looked kinda sus.. Fast guys been fast they whole life, they run and talk **** while they smoke everyone in their neighborhood, they usually play ball and run track at some point..
