The Canes added some home-run speed to their RB room by landing Seffner (Armood) star Girard Pringle. A consensus Top 10 RB in the nation, Pringle combines track speed (10.8 in the 100M) with production (1,700+ yards and 24 TDs as a junior).
Despite only standing 5’10, 185-pounds, Pringle is a willing inside runner who can break tackles. He carried a heavy load at Armwood and competed against a very good schedule. Unlike many track runners, Pringle is very quick laterally and makes efficient cuts in traffic. He also has return ability. His playing style compares to Jahmyr Gibbs of Alabama.
Pringle chose Miami over Alabama.
