The Giants waived Trent Harris on Dec. 8, but resigned him to their practice squad on Dec. 10. As noted above, Calais Campbell was back in action after being on the Covid-19 List from Nov. 24 thru Dec. 5. Information about most NFL players who've contracted the virus is very limited, but Campbell, who suffers from Asthma, went public about how hard the illness hit him. As posted in a separate thread here at CanesInsight, the Patriots' Michael Pinckney was suspended (undisclosed violations) for 6 games on Nov. 27. Shaquille Quarterman was activated from the IR by Jacksonville on Nov. 25. Greg Olsen was placed on IR (plantar fascia) on Nov 22 by Seattle, and is expected to be out at least 8 weeks. Rookie Trajan Bandy was signed to Cincinnati's practice squad on Nov. 18. Punter Austin Barnard had a tryout with Minnesota on Nov. 18, but wasn't signed. A transfer from Miami to Samford, Barnard spent the whole 2018 season on the IR with Tennessee, but was cut by the Titans in training camp in 2019. He also had a tryout with Detroit last season. After spending two Sundays on the Chiefs' 53-man roster starting in October, Danny Isidora was returned to Kansas City's PS in early November.

In other news: Due to a COVID-19 outbreak in the San Antonio bubble being used by The Spring League's teams, the TSL 2020 fall regular season was concluded prematurely on Nov. 17 according to a league announcement. The tentative Dec. 2nd scheduled date for the TSL championship game was also cancelled.
