The NFL season is getting into the playoff push so teams are relying on their Pro Canes to make big plays. Lets see how everybody did in week 11.
Frank Gore ran the ball 11 times for 27 yards and also had a catch that went for 18 yards. Duke Johnson ran the ball six times for 40 yards and caught two passes for four yards.
Braxton Berrios returned three punts and got 43 yards while Phillip Dorsett caught three passes for 33 yards and a touchdown. Allen Hurns signed a contract extension with the Dolphins early in the week and followed it up with a four catch, 53 yard performance.
Greg Olsen caught five passes for a total of 57 yards.
On the offensive line, Jon Feliciano, Brandon Linder, and Ereck Flowers both started for their respective teams.
On the defensive line, Al-Quadin Muhammad and Trent Harris each came away with two tackles and Calais Campbell had one. Allen Bailey had two tackles and a sack. Chad Thomas had three tackles and a big time sack on Thursday night.
Like Thomas, Denzel Perryman also made plays in primetime. He came away with seven tackles and a forced fumble.
Perryman wasn’t the only Hurricane making plays for the chargers on Monday night. Rayshawn Jenkins finished the game with three tackles and an interception. Sheldrick Redwine and Jamal Carter each had one tackle while Corn Elder had two during his first game back with the Panthers.
Pat O’Donnell punted the ball six times for 258 yards, 43 yards per punt. Mike Badgley made three of his four field goals.
